Rev. Josh is a professional wedding officiant who believes every ceremony should feel personal, meaningful, and memorable.
Born just outside of Washington, DC, Josh grew up in the Philadelphia area, spent a few years in Phoenix, Arizona, and now calls Pittsburgh home. Professionally, he began his career as a physical therapist, which gave him a solid foundation focused around connecting with and caring for people. Today, Josh channels that same people-first mindset into his work in cardiology medical device sales and his role as a wedding officiant.
Josh officiated his first wedding in 2020 for a close friend, and since then, he has had the opportunity to officiate weddings in some truly unforgettable locations—including Italy and even at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Each ceremony has been unique, but they have all reinforced just how special it is to be invited into such an important moment in a couple’s life.
He loves having the opportunity to get to know each couple, learn their story, and incorporate the moments, people, and details that make their relationship unique. He also understands that being the center of attention can feel a little overwhelming, and he works to create a ceremony environment where couples feel relaxed, comfortable, and able to fully enjoy the moment.
Outside of officiating, Josh enjoys exercising, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, Ashton, their cat, Cherry, and their family and friends. He loves officiating weddings because it gives him tremendous joy to be part of such a special day. Bringing a couple’s story to life and helping create a meaningful moment for them, their families, and their friends is something he considers a true honor.
